Norma Lansing, President & CEO, IOM, ACE

Norma is an Illinois Accredited Chamber Executive, graduate of Institutes for Organization Management and a 40-year veteran in Chamber of Commerce management. She oversees the programs and services that the Chamber provides to our members and the community.

Norma is also actively involved in the community as a member of the Board of the Effingham Regional Growth Alliance, Effingham Regional Incubator Network, Effingham County CEO Advisory Board, Lake Land College Kluthe Center Advisory Board, and City of Effingham Tourism Advisory Board, member of Effingham Noon Rotary Club and Effingham Women of Today. She is past chairman of the board of the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and recipient of the association’s highest award for achievement, the Lester W. Brann Distinguished Chamber Executive Award. Lansing received the 2014 East Central Illinois Development Corporation’s Outstanding Leadership in Community and Economic Development.

Norma and her husband Ken have three children and six grandchildren and reside at Lake Sara.

Becky Brown, Membership Director, NFCP

Becky is a Certified Not-For-Profit Executive and a 23 year veteran with the Chamber of Commerce. Her duties include membership recruitment and retention, scheduling of Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, new member pictures and other membership programs.

Becky received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Lake Land College in 1994; a Dale Carnegie graduate in 1996; a graduate assistant in 1999 and completed the Pacific Institute Investment In Excellence Training in 2006. She is also active in the community as Past-President for Sunrise Rotary; a member of the Effingham Women of Today; Treasurer for Crossroads ABATE and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg.

Becky and her husband Ken have two children and three grandchildren and reside in Effingham.

Justine Carlson

Justine has a background in accounting and finance and years of customer service experience. She has attended Women in business classes as well as Bell Leadership courses. Justine is very involved in her community as a lifelong member of the Effingham County Western Rooters 4h Club. She was a member for 10 years and is now serves as a leader. She also serves as a Sunday school Teacher & assists with the annual Chili Supper at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She also assists with the annual Chili Supper for the Ladies Aid. As the new Office Manager she looks forward to the opportunities ahead to help assist members get the most out of their Chamber Memberships.

Justine and her husband Brian have 3 children and reside in Altamont.


Kristin Probst – Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Kristin joined the Chamber in August 2019. Her duties include serving as a communication and marketing representative to Chamber membership, staff, program participants and the general public and acting as a resource on events and initiatives of the Chamber and its affiliates. She relocated to the area from Champaign Urbana, where she studied sociology at Parkland College and has recently returned to pursue her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. With a background in law early in her career as a foundation, she has attained over 15 years’ experience in real estate development and management with a focus on team and project management, finance, marketing and public relations. She brings to us her experience with business to business relationships, team management, public relations, project planning and management, program development, graphic design and photography. She is an accredited real estate manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management, a former Illinois real estate broker and a current Notary Public for the State of Illinois. She lives with her husband and two step children in Teutopolis.
